Ministers mourn death of opposition chief whip Tajul
DHAKA, Aug 14, 2018 (BSS) – A number of ministers today expressed
deep shock at the death of opposition chief whip Tajul Islam
Chowdhury.
In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of
the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved
family.
The cabinet members are: Road Transport and bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader, Local Government, Rural Development and
Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Social Welfare
Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister
AKM Shahjahan Kamal, state minister for Public Administration
Ismat Ara Sadek, state minister for Rural Development and Co-
operatives Division Md Moshiur Rahman Ranga and state minister for
Labour and Employment Md Mujibul Haque.
They recalled his contribution to politics with due respect
terming him a successful politician.
The Jatiya Party lawmaker from Kurigram -2 constituency breathed
his last at the United Hospital in the city last night ending his
battle against various age-related complications, including kidney
disease.
He was 73.
