IF-MOURNING-PROGRAMME
Islamic Foundation to observe Nat’l Mourning Day
DHAKA, Aug 13, 2018 (BSS) – Islamic Foundation has taken various
programmes to observe the 43rd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day on Wednesday
(August 15) across the country with due respect and solemnity.
The programmes include placing wreaths, Quran Khawani, milad mahfil,
discussion on Bangabandhu’s life and works, talk-show titled ‘Islam and
Bangabandhu’, publishing special edition of the ‘Monthly Agrapathik and
Sabujpata’, providing free healthcare services, and Hifz-ul-Quran and essay
competitions in the city, said an IF press release today.
The IF will also organise discussions, Quran Khawanis and milad mahfils
at 71,019 places, including at its all district, upazila and union level
offices, across the country on the day.
