Eva takes solo lead after 5th round in Women’s Chess
DHAKA, Aug 12, 2018 (BSS)- WFM Nazrana Khan Eva of Manikganj took solo lead
in the points table with maximum five points after 5th round games of the
WALTON 38th National Women’s Chess Championship now being held at Bangladesh
Chess Federation hall-room.
WIM Rani Hamid of Titas Club, WFM Zakia Sultana of Agrani Bank Daba Dal,
Umme Taslima Protiva Talukder of Bogra and Afrin Jahan Munia of Barisal are
sharing the second position with four points.
In the day’s fifth round games held today (Sunday), Eva beat Protiva, WFM
Zakia split point with WFM Afroza Khanam Bably, Noshin beat Jannatul Ferdous,
Munia beat Jhorna Begum and Kishwara Shajrin Evana split point with Sadia
Afrin Samia.
