DHAKA, Aug 12, 2018 (BSS) – The government has targeted to impart
training to 1,64,000 teachers on creative question paper method by 2018.
As many as 3,000 teachers have been given 12-day training to create a
pool of master trainers to fulfill the target, this was revealed today at a
meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education at the Jatiya
Sangsad Bhaban, an official release said.
Chairman of the committee Md Afsarul Amin presided over the meeting, it
added. Other members of the committee — Md Salim Uddin Tarafdar, Golam
Mostafa, SM Abul Kalam Azad, Mohammad Mamunur Rashid and Selina Akhtar Banu –
– attended the meeting.
Under the Secondary Education Sector Investment Programme, teachers are
being given six days training on creative question paper method. The
committee recommended to increase the time of training to one month for the
teachers as the existing timeframe is not sufficient.
The committee also recommended to change the exam system of the public
examination to check question paper leakage.
