BFF, K Sports inks deal for holding Bangabandhu Gold Cup
DHAKA, Aug 9, 2018 (BSS)- Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) signed a
contract with K Sports, which has been given the right to arrange the
Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 scheduled to be held from October 1 to 12.
In this regard, a signing ceremony was held on Thursday between BFF and K
Sports at the conference room of BFF. BFF senior vice president and
tournament committee chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy and K Sports chief
executive officer Fahad MA Karim inked the agreement on behalf of their
respective organizations.
BFF president Kazi M Salahuddin, BFF vice president Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi,
BFF members Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Harunur Rashid, Bijon Borua, Fazlur
Rahman Babul, Amit Khan Shuvro and Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF general secretary
Abu Nayeem Sohag, K Sports director Ashfaq Ahmed and chief operating officer
Mahbubur Rahman were present on the occasion.
Six Asian teams, including host Bangladesh, will take part in the
prestigious tournament. The group phase matches will be held in Sylhet while
the semi-finals and the final will be held in Dhaka.
