TK 10.17 lakh education grant distributed in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Aug 8, 2018 (BSS) – Cheques of Taka 10.17 lakh as education
grants were distributed among 148 beneficiaries here for improving their
living and livelihood condition on Tuesday, an official said today.
On behalf of the ministry of education, district administration distributed
the cheques among the beneficiaries including 139 distressed and physically
challenged students, one teacher and eight educational institutions at the
conference hall of Deputy Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner SM Abdul Kader and Additional Deputy Commissioner
(Education and ICT) Nasima Khatun) distributed the cheques.
Kader told BSS bank cheques were given to beneficiaries as a part of
government initiatives to help distressed students and people.
