Seminar over books on Bangabandhu in city tomorrow

DHAKA, Aug 7, 2018 (BSS) – The National Museum will organise a seminar
over two books on Bangabandhu ‘Karagarer Rojnamcha’ and ‘ Oshomapto
Attojiboni’ marking the 43rd death anniversary of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

“We will hold the seminar at Sufia Kamal auditorium around 5pm as a part
of National Mourning Day programme for detailed discussions over both books
on Bangabandhu as no seminar regarding the books was taken place earlier,”
said Keeper of the National Museum Shihab Shahriar.

Bangla Academy President and National Professor Anisuzzaman is expected
to present at the event as the chief guest with Bangladesh National Museum
Board of Trustees President Hashem Khan in the chair.

Dhaka University (DU) National Museum Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor
Muhammad Samad will present the keynote paper and Bangla Academy Director
General Shamsuzzaman Khan and Rabindra University VC Biswajit Ghosh also will
participate in the discussion.

Apart from this, the museum took different types of initiatives
including photo exhibition and recitation of poems on Bangabandhu to mark the
month of mourning.

In the photo exhibition, pictures of Bangabandhu taken from Language
Movement to War of Liberation will be displayed.
