Essay competition among tribal students in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 7, 2018 (BSS) – Essay and drawing competitions among
tribal students were held at Filtipara under Jhilim union in sadar upazila of
the district on Monday afternoon.
Committee of the Concerned Citizen (CCC), SIL International Bangladesh and
Tabitha Foundation in association with Transparency International Bangladesh
(TIB) arranged the competitions with a view to encouraging the tribal
students in co-curricular activities.
Essay competition was held in two groups where six graders to ten graders
took part and drawing competition also was held in two groups where one
grader to five grader students joined.
A total of 98 students took part in the competitions.
The prizes would be distributed among the winners on the ‘International Day
of the Indigenous People’ on August 9, officials concerned said.
