Bangladesh on the development highway: Motahar

RANGPUR, Aug 06, 2018 (BSS) – Under the farsighted able leadership of
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has achieved massive uplifts during
the last ten years while move on the development highway to become a
developed country.

Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Primary and
Mass Education Motahar Hossain, MP, said this today while inaugurating
development projects at the cost of Taka 4.50 crore in different areas of
Hatibandha upazila in Lalmonirhat as the chief guest.

The development projects include construction works of new academic
buildings of three government primary schools and two-kilometre road
carpeting works from Gendukuri village to Kaliganj frontier in the upazila.

Shyamol, Upazila Engineer Ajay Kumar Sarker, Lalmonirhat Zila Parishad Member
Marjina Begum and Chairmen Abdul Gafur Mian of Saniyazan union attended the
occasions.

Motahar said, “The present government puts maximum importance on
infrastructural development and quality education at all levels to produce
knowledgeable, enlightened and skilled citizens.”

“The livelihoods and life standard of rural people have improved
significantly following massive development in the communication and rural
infrastructure as well as education sectors during the past ten years,” he
said.

He called upon the common people, students, teachers and guardians not
to pay attention to the false propaganda being conducted by some vested
quarters to misguide the people for creating anarchy taking advantage of some
recent incidents.

He urged the people to vote for symbol ‘Boat’ in next general elections
to bring Awami League again to power for continuation of development to build
a developed Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman.
