Road accident kills schoolboy at Dohar
DHAKA, Aug 2, 2018 (BSS)- A schoolboy was killed and another injured in a
road accident on Charkushai Regional Road under Dohar upazila of the district
this morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Reshad alias Rudra, 12, son of Md Shamsul
Haq of Char Jamalpur area under the upazila and also a student of class seven
of Nababganj Bandura Holy Cross School and College.
Md Nurul Huda Bhuiyan, sub-inspector (SI) of Dohar Thana Police, said the
accident occurred when a mango-laden truck hit a motorcycle carrying three in
the area, leaving two injured on the spot.
The wounded were taken to Dohar Upazila Health Complex where attending
doctors declared Reshad dead.
Police also seized the truck but its driver and helper managed to escape,
the SI added.
A case was filed with the concerned thana in this connection.
