FE editor Moazzaem Hossain laid to rest
DHAKA, August 2, 2018 (BSS)-AHM Moazzem Hossain, editor and publisher of
The Financial Express, was laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard in the city this
afternoon.
First namaz-e-janaza of Moazzem Hossain was held at his residence at
Ramna Estate Complex, 124 Boro Maghbazar, while the second janaza at The
Financial Express office and the last janaza on the Jatiya Press Club
premises.

Sobhan Chowdhury, Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad
Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, Editor of The Daily Star Mahfuz Anam, Editor
of the daily Bhorer Kagoj Shymal Dutta, leaders of Awami League and other
political parties, business leaders and journalists attended the janaza at
the Press Club.
Hossain, suffering from heart and lung complications, died at a city
hospital on Wednesday evening at the age of 72.
He left behind his wife Chand Sultana, son Fahim Hossain, daughter Farhana
Hossain, and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
