PM releases postage stamp on Bangabandhu Satellite launch
DHAKA, July 31, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today released a commemorative stamp of Taka 10 issued by the postal department on the occasion of celebration of the launching of Bangabandhu Satellite-1.
The prime minister also released a data card of Taka five and an envelope on the occasion.
The prime minister released the stamp, envelope and data card at a function held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center here to celebrate the launching of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 and inauguration of the two ground stations.
Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar, Secretary of the ministry Shyam Sundar Sikder and Director General of Bangladesh Postal Department Sushanta Kumar Mondol were present on the occasion.
