14 held in Habiganj
HABIGANJ, July 30, 2018 (BSS) – Members of the Department of Narcotics
Control (DNC) and police in separate drives arrested 14 persons including a
drug trader, 10 wanted accused and three accused in regular cases from
different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 9am this morning.
They also seized 515 pieces of Yaba tablets during the drives.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl.SP) A S M Shamsur Rahman Bhuiyan
said, they were picked up from different areas of the district on different
charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with
different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources added.
The arrested were sent to jail.
