One held with 1,500 Yaba tablets in Parbotipur
RANGPUR, July 30, 2018 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) arrested a
suspected drug trader with 1,500 pieces of smuggled Yaba tablets from New
Colony area under Parbotipur upazila in Dinajpur on Sunday afternoon, a press
release said today.
The arrested person is Alal Hossain Badsha alias Bablu, 29, son of Amjad
Hossain of village Babupara BBC Mour area in the same upazila.
On a tip off, a special squad of the Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 from
Dinajpur Camp of RAB-13 conducted a raid there, seized the Yaba tablets and
Taka 2,150 from Bablu and arrested him.
“After primary interrogation, the arrested person was handed over to
Parbotipur Thana after filing a case in this connection against him last
night,” the release added.
