BCB releases itinerary of home series against Zimbabwe

DHAKA, July 29, 2018 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released
the itinerary for Bangladesh’s upcoming home matches against Zimbabwe in
October and November later this year.

The Zimbabwe cricket team will arrive in the capital on October 16.

Thereafter, the visiting side will play a one-day practice match on October
19 in Savar before the first ODI on October 21 at the Sher-e-Bangla National
Stadium in Mirpur. The remaining two ODIs will be played on October 24 and 26
at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

After playing a three-day warm-up match in Chittagong on October 29 to 31,
Zimbabwe team will then travel to Sylhet to take part in the two-match Test
series, which starts on November 3 at the Sylhet International Cricket
Stadium which is also set to host its first ever Test match after making its
international debut back in the 2014 World T20. The second Test match will be
played from November 11 to 15 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in
Mirpur.

Zimbabwe team is scheduled to depart Bangladesh on November 16 after the
conclusion of the second Test.

The Bangladesh team is presently in the West Indies where they defeated the
hosts by 2-1 in the ODI series. Their next assignment in the country is the
three-match T20I series, which starts on August 1.
