Youths urged to become entrepreneurs utilising own talents

RANGPUR, July 28, 2018 (BSS) – Discussants at a seminar have urged the
educated youths to become entrepreneurs and create jobs for others utilising
innovative talents instead of running after employments by engaging their
all-out efforts.

They came up with the statement at the seminar on ‘Career Boot Up’
organised by Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) at its
auditorium with assistance of ‘Jobs in Rangpur’ and ‘Not Out and Programming
Chat’ on Friday evening.

Presided over by RCCI President Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu, Mayor of
Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa spoke on the occasion as the chief guest.

“Our youths are most talented and they can generate anything using own
abilities to become successful entrepreneurs and create jobs in enhancing
economic activities to accelerate national progress,” said Titu.

Around 300 male and female students of different universities and colleges
of Rangpur division, RCCI executives and directors and young entrepreneurs
participated in the seminar.

Three young entrepreneurs from Dhaka including Founder of ‘Youth
Opportunities’ Osama Bin Noor, Chief Executive of ‘Otimax Communications Ltd’
Iqbal Bahar and Founder of ‘Dreams for Tomorrow’ Zaved Parvez and RCCI Vice-
president Mostoba Hossain Ripan narrated successes stories in changing their
lives beginning from zero.

Titu said “Bangladesh has huge youth population which is considered as
human resources. Thirty lakh youths are entering the job markets every year.
Of them, 10 lakh are being employed in the private sector and five lakh
others are going abroad.”

“More than 15 lakh male and female youths are remaining unemployed every
year in the country where the youths should give priority to become
entrepreneurs and create new jobs in place of running after employments and
services,” he added.

At the end, the chief guest with the RCCI President distributed crests to
12 male and female youths of Rangpur division for realising their dreams at
own initiatives for becoming successful entrepreneurs.
