DHAKA, July 28, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
Rain or thundershowers may occur at most places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places over the country, said a
BMD press release here.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, the release added.
The maximum temperature was recorded 33.3 degrees Celsius yesterday at Rangpur while today’s minimum temperature 24.7 degrees Celsius at Chattogram.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 97 mm at Sitakunda in Chattogram division.
The sun sets at 6:44 pm today and rises at 5:26 am tomorrow in the capital.
