Chess team to participate in Asian Nations Cup in Iran
DHAKA, July 26, 2018 (BSS)-The Asian Nations Cup Team Chess Championship will begin tomorrow (Friday) at Hamadan city in Iran.
Five members Bangladesh National Chess will participate in the Open section. They are GM Enamul Hossain Razib, FM Khandaker Aminul Islam, FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed and IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin.
The championship included three events. The events are Standard, Rapid and Blitz. Champion team of standard chess will qualify in the World Team Chess Championship 2019.
The Bangladesh Chess Federation has carried all expenditures of the players participating in the event.
