3 national professors accorded
DHAKA, July 26, 2018 (BSS) – University of Asia Pacific (UAP) has
accorded a reception to the three newly-appointed national professors for
their valuable achievements and outstanding contributions to fields of
education.
The national professors are Professor Emeritus Dr Rafiqul Islam,
Professor Emeritus Dr Anisuzzaman and Professor Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury, a
UAP press release said today.
UAP Trustee Board chairman Monzoor Ahmed Chowdhury handed over honorary
crests to the national professors at a function at the university auditorium
in the city’s Green Road area last night.
UAP Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr MR Kabir delivered the welcome
speech at the function while Bangla Academy director general Shamsuzzaman
Khan, UAP Professor Emeritus Dr M Shamim Z Bosunia and former chairman of UAP
Trustee Board Qayum Reza Chowdhury, among others, spoke.
