Body recovered in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, July 26, 2018 (BSS)- Police today recovered the bloodstain body of a school going student from a pond at Hedahetpur village under Pamuli union in Debiganj upazila of the district.
Sub-inspector of Debiganj thana Anower Hossein said the victim was identified as Kabita Rani, 14, daughter of Rajendra Nath of Pamuli village. She was a class-ten student in Pamuli High School.
Kabita’s father said that his daughter was missing from his house on July 25 at night. Next day, the villagers found her body floating in the pond.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Panchagarh Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Debiganj thana in this connection.
