ARREST-CHAPAINAWABGANJ
308 bottles phensidyl recovered, one held in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 26, 2018 (BSS)-Members of Border Guard Bangladesh
(BGB) recovered 308 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl in two separate
drives in the frontier areas of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district
this morning.
The arrested man was Md Rabiul Awal, 22, son of Md Sentu Ali of
Monakasha in Shibganj upazila.
BGB said a patrol team of BGB from Masudpur border out post raided
Bidaipur field area under Shibganj upazila of the district and recovered 240
bottles of phensidyl at 1:45 am.
Another patrol team of BGB from Monakasha border out post raided frontier
Noboful field area in Shibganj upazila at 5:45 am and arrested Rabiul Awal
with 68 bottles of phensidyl.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana
with a case and the seized bottles of phensidyl were deposited with the
Narcotics Control Department.
