480 flood-hit farmers get cattle feed in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, July 26, 2018 (BSS) – A total of 480 flood hit families of
three upazilas in the district got cattle feed freely for their domestic
animals yesterday.
In the arrangement of Livestock Department, the cattle feed were
distributed to 230 flood victims of Sundarganj upazila, 100 of Shaghata
upazila and 150 of Fulchhari upazila in cooperation with Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
The respective upazila livestock offices arranged the cattle feed
distribution activity for the affected farmers of the upazilas on the office
premises on Wednesday.
Each of the farmers received a bag of ready cattle feed weighing 75 kgs
and 12 de-worming tablets from the department, said district livestock
officer Dr. Abdul Latif.
