Couple held with 27,300 yaba tablets in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, July 25, 2018 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
in a drive arrested an alleged yaba trader couple with 27,300 pieces of yaba
tablets from city gate area of Colonel Hat under Pahartali thana in the city
this noon.
The arrested were identified as Mohammad Sabuj, 31, and his wife Jahinur
Begum, 30, hailed from Khashani village in Gopalganj district.
On a tip-off, a team of the RAB nabbed them from the area around 1 pm and
recovered the contraband drugs after searching their bag.
Mimtanur Rahman, senior assistant director of the RAB, said legal action
is under process against them.
The elite force also detained their motorcycle.
