3 killed in Ctg road accident
CHATTOGRAM, June 18, 2021 (BSS)-Three people including child and woman were killed in a road accident in Khalpar area of Steel mill bazar under city’s EPZ thana this noon.
The victim were identified as Arafa Begum, 45, her niece Ayesha Akhtar Mim, 7 and pedestrian Rezaul Karim, 24, hailed from EPZ thana.
Riaz Uddin Chowdhury, inspector of EPZ thana police told BSS that the rickshaw was knocked down by a bus coming towards EPZ from Khalpar adjacent to Steelmill Bazar.
Rickshaw rider Arfa Begum, her niece Ayesha Akhtar Mim and pedestrian Rezaul Karim, died on the spot.
The bodies sent to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
