Farashganj SC, Wari Club split points in BCL
DHAKA, June 17, 2021 (BSS)- Farashganj Sporting Club split points with Wari Club when their match ended in a 3-3 goal draw in the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s match, Jibon put Farashganj ahead in the 19th minute while Rajon doubled the lead scoring the second goal for old Dhaka outfit in the 45+4th minute.
After the breather, Rajon further widened the team’s margin scoring his second and third goal for Farashganj in the 55th minute of the match.
But, Wari Club staged a fight back in the remaining proceeding as Ali pulled one back scoring the first goal in the 58th minute while Tutul further reduced the margin scoring the second goal for Wari Club in the 65th minute of the match.
Ali finally leveled the margin scoring his second and third goal for Wari Club in the 90+5th minute of the match.
Friday’s matches: Dhaka City FC VS Victoria Sporting Club (5 pm) and Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club vs Agrani Bank Limited Sports Club (7 pm ). Both the matches will be held at the same venue.
