BFF to organize AFC Grassroots Day Saturday

DHAKA, June 17, 2021 (BSS)- In collaboration with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), under the management of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the BFF will organize the AFC Grassroots Day festival on Saturday (June 19) at four separate zones across the country.

Apart from BFF’s artillery turf at Motijheel, the AFC Grassroots Day will be organized at BFF’s grassroots zone namely Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari, Bhasha Shaheed Salam Stadium in Feni and Madaripur District Stadium in Madaripur without spectators in compliance with health protocol due to COVID-19 situation.

In the AFC Grassroots Day, a total of 800 teenage football players, 200 from each zone/ district, will participate in the event.

National football team’s captain Jamal Bhuyan and national women’s football team captain Sabina Khatun greeted each other on the occasion of AFC Grassroots Day.
