32,400 coronavirus vaccines reached in Khulna
KHULNA, June 16, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 32,400 doses of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine reached today in Khulna.
Civil Surgeon Dr Niaz Mohammad received the vaccine at City’s School Health Clinic today.
“We will resume the vaccination programme in Khulna from June 19”, he said.
Earlier, the civil surgeon office under the management of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) launched hectic campaign at the city and upazila level government hospitals and upazila health complexes for taking vaccine.
In Khulna City, the COVID-19 vaccination campaign started after Khulna City Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque inaugurated the programme at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) in the city on February 7, 2021.
A total of 1, 68,000 people get vaccines in the city and the district in last four months.
