NU first year students get conditional promotion
DHAKA, June 16, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 3, 16,676 first year students of the 2019-20 academic session of the National University (NU) have been given conditional promotion into second year.
Students who have filled the form to participate in the Honors 1st year examination in 2020 have been given permission to attend classes in the 2nd year as it was not possible to arrange examinations due to the pandemic, said a press release.
“The conditions include the students must have to participate in written examinations for the first year once the situation becomes normal. If any student does not take part in exams or is ‘not promoted’ as per the regulations, his conditional promotion will be canceled.” read the release.
