5 teen-gang members held in city
DHAKA, June 15, 2021 (BSS) – An elite team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, has arrested 5 members of Teen Gang named ‘Rock King Group’ from city’s Shanir Akhra area.
Being informed, the team arrested them from the area under Gobindapur of Jatrabari police station around 11pm on Monday , RAB-3 sources said.
RAB Additional Superintendent of Police Bina Rani Das confirmed the matter to BSS today.
The arrested are Emon Ahmed Shuvo ,20,of Dhaka district, Md Sumon Miah ,18, of of Dhaka district, Azaharul Islam alias Dolon 21, of Shariatpur district , Ontar Hossain Mollah ,22, of Dhaka district and Nazmul Hasan alias Saikat 20, of Noakhali district.
The law enforces recovered around 374 Yaba tablets, 2 switch gear knives, 2 steel batons, 3 metal chains and 5 boxing punchers from the detainees.
Legal actions have been taken against the arrested in this regard.
