Medical center for WDB staffs inaugurated
DHAKA, June 15, 2021(BSS) – A medical center for the Water Development Board employees was inaugurated today at Pani Bhaban on Green Road in the capital.
The medical center has been set up to provide emergency medical treatment to all the officers and employees of the Ministry of Water Resources and its subsidiary departments, said a press release.
‘There are 13 beds including five ICU beds and one ambulance.
Doctors will be there for round the clock.
The medical center has all the preparations to deal with the emergency situation of the patient affected by Covid-19 .
State Minister for Water Resources Colonel (Retd.) Zahid Farooq, Deputy Minister AKM Enamul Haque Shamim inaugurated the Medical Center.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry Kabir Bin Anwar, Additional Secretary (Administration) Alam Ara Begum, Director General of Water Development Board AKM Wahid Uddin Chowdhury, Additional Director General of Water Development Board Fazlur Rashid and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
