Tree plantation program inaugurated in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, June 15, 2021 (BSS) – Tree plantation program was inaugurated here today under the auspices of ‘Green Environment Movement’ Manikganj district unit at the Muktijoddha Shishu Park.
S M Ferdous, Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj, inaugurated the program as the chief guest planting a Red Kadam sapling in the park.
The chief guest in his speech urged the people to plant more trees in their home yards, road sides and fellow land for keeping balance of the environment.
District President of Green Environment Razzaque Hossain Raja, Manikganj Poura President MahmudulHuqueSuvo and Advocate Deepok Ghosh, among others, were present on the occasion.
