Two killed in road accident on Bangabandhu bridge
SIRAJGANJ, June 13, 2021 (BSS) – Two people were killed and eight others injured as a bus of Shaymoli Paribahan hit a tractor on Bangabandhu bridge in Sirajganj side early today.
The deceased were identified as Moznu Sheikh, 33, and Nazrul Islam, 35. Both were residents of Nilphamari district.
Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu bridge thana Md Mosaddek Hossain said Moznu and Nazrul who were on the tractor died on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sirajganj General Hospital, while the injured were admitted to Tangail General Hospital.
