Government working for rural development: Murad
JAMALPUR, June 12, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan today said the present government is relentlessly working to bring remote area people into the mainstream of progress by ensuring infrastructural development of the rural areas.
“The present patriotic and democratic government is relentlessly working for bringing the people of the remote areas into the mainstream of progress by ensuring infrastructural development of the areas,” he said.
The state minister made the statement while visiting the progress of rural development activities at Pingna and Pogaldigha unions of Sharishabari Upazila in the district.
Murad urged all to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for building the ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Sharishabari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sihab Uddin and local Awami League leaders accompanied the state minister during the visit.
