SHAHIDA-DEATH-ANNIVERSARY (With pic)
Shahida Begum’s 7th death anniversary tomorrow
DHAKA, July 24, 2018 (BSS) – Tomorrow is the seventh death anniversary of
Syeda Shahida Begum, mother of General Secretary of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity
(DRU) Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo.
On the occasion, the Holy Quran recitation and a milad mahfil will be
held on Friday after the Jumma prayers at a mosque located near Shuvo’s
apartment at 94/A, Modhya Pirerbagh, Mirpur.
Relatives and well-wishers have been requested to attend the milad mahfil
and pray for salvation of Begum, who breathed her last on the day in 2011 at
the age of 90.
Shahida left three sons and three daughters to mourn her death.
