Fortis FC blank Uttara FC 2-0 in BCL
DHAKA, June 11, 2021 (BSS) – Fortis Football Club blanked Uttara Football Club Limited by 2-0 goals in a match of the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In The day’s match, Zillur put Fortis FC ahead in the 41st minute while Ekbal sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Fortis in the 45th minute of the match.
After the breather, Uttara Football Club Limited however tried heart and soul to stage a fight back but could not convert any lack of proper finishing in the remaining proceeding.
In the day’s another match, Dhaka City Football Club split point with Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw held at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
In the day’s match, Raihan Hasan put Fakirerpool ahead in the 14th minute while after the breather Moin Ahmed restored the parity for Dhaka City FC in the 56th minute of the match.
