DHAKA, June 11, 2021 (BSS)- The fire that broke out at the jhut warehouse inMillgate Olympia area of Tongi in Gazipur near the capital on Thursday night has been brought under control around 1.15 am today.
Being informed, seven units of Fire Service and Civil Defense from Uttara and Tongi reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.
Mohammad Hanif, station officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense Uora Station, confirmed the information to BSS from the spot in the early hours of today.
No casualties were reported so far in this regard.
It is initially assumed that the fire broke out due to an electric short-circuit, Hanif added.
