National footballers to come under salary system
DHAKA, June 10, 2021 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin said he is thinking of bringing the national football team’s players under the salary system. `
Talking to reporters today, the BFF boss said the national footballers would be brought under salary system in order to increase interest among the players to play for the national team.
The BFF boss said after making a pool of 30 footballers, the players would be paid divided into three groups.
Earlier, on the day, BFF president Kazi Salahuudin sat with five national booters for an exchange of views at the BFF Bhaban board room. They are Biswanath Ghosh, Mahbubur Rahman Sufil, Saad Uddin Ahmed, Tutul Hossain Badsha and Ashraful Islam Rana.
The five footballers could not go to Qatar with the team to play the FIFA World Cup qualifiers matches due to injury problem.
