Three varsity students remanded in case for making hash brownie
DHAKA, June 10, 2021 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today placed three students of different private universities on two-day remand each in a case lodged for making hash brownie, a brownie laced with hashish and eaten for its psychoactive effects.
The three accused are American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) student Kafil Wara Rafid, Dhanmandi Advanced Professionals student Qazi Risalat Hossain and University of Development Alternative (UDA) student Saiful Islam Saif.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shahinur Rahman passed the order as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to place them on seven-day remand.
