One more test positive for COVID-19 in Bhola
BHOLA, June 10, 2021 (BSS) – One more person was diagnosed with COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 47 samples at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital COVID-19 laboratory.
The new infected person is a resident at Sadar upazila of the district, civil surgeon (acting) of the district Dr. Md. Sirajuddin told BSS this afternoon.
The total number of infected people in the district stood at 1,964 while the number of recovery cases at 1,860, the civil surgeon said.
Meanwhile, 12 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the district.
A total of 26 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district, said Dr. Md. Sirajuddin.
Dr. Md. Sirajuddin said infected eight persons are now undergoing treatment at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital, rest of the infected persons are now undergoing treatment at home under the supervision of doctors from their respective upazila health complexes.
The health expert of the district urged all to follow the health rules strictly and use masks to prevent the spread of the lethal virus.
He urged everyone to be more aware to prevent this lethal infection.
