158 more test positive for Covid-19 in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 10, 2021 (BSS) – One more person died and 158 were tested positive for COVID-19 in the district during the last 24 hours.
The number of Covid-19 cases climbed to 2,976 as 158 more people were detected positive after testing 823 samples in the district during the period and the infection rate is 19.19 percent, the district civil surgeon office sources said.
With a new death the death toll reached in the district 62, the sources added.
Among the newly detected patients, 115 people are from Sadar upazila, 14 from Shibganj upazila, nine from Gomastapur upazila, seven from Nachole upazila and 13 from Bholahat upazila.
A total of 1,451 patients in which 51 in dedicated Covid-19 hospital and others in home quarantine are undergoing treatment in the district while 1,464 patients have so far recovered from the deadly disease here, the sources added.
