ARREST-HEMP-C’NAWABGANJ
One held with 1.25 kg hemp in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 10, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1.25 kg of hemp from Shibganj upazila in the district last night.
The arrested person is Md. Nasir Uddin, 21, a resident of Ekbarpur Jabbar Biswastola under Binodpur union of the upazila.
On a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 conducted a raid at Kamlakantapur Dahirapara village under Chatrajitpur union of the upazila at around 9-30 pm and arrested Nasir with the hemp, a RAB official said.
A case was filed with Shibganj Police Station in this connection.
