FENI, June 8, 2021 (BSS)–Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested four thieves with apparel products in the town last night.
The detainees were identified as Jahangir Alam Shapon, 40, Md Anowar Hossain Azad, 42, Md Hanif, 28, and Md Mohsin, 18.
Company Commander of RAB-7 Md Mahfuzur Rahman today said they conducted a raid in Dewanganj area at midnight last night and caught the thieves with the garment products worth about Tk over one crore.
RAB men also seized a covered van in the drive.
Mahfuzur Rahman said some associates also escaped the scene sensing the RAB presence, he added.
The garment products were heading towards Chattogram with a covered van.
Among the arrestees, Md Hanif was the driver and Mohsin was his helper of the covered van.
