DHAKA, June 7, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today paid rich
tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the historic Six-Point Day.
Leaders and workers of the organization, led by its President Al Nahiyan Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhok Bhattacharya, placed a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu on Bangabandhu Bhaban premises at Dhanmondi road number 32 this morning.
General Secretary of BCL Dhaka University unit Saddam Hussain, BCL Dhaka metropolitan (north) unit President Ibrahim Hossen, General Secretary Saidur Rahman Hridoy, leaders and activists of different units were present on the occasion.
On this day in 1966, Bangabandhu launched a significant movement against the Pakistan misrule, on the basis of a six-point demand, the Magna Carta of Bangalis demanding autonomy for what was then East Pakistan.
