Golden era of films will return soon: Hasan
Dhaka, June 6, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said the golden era of the country’s film industry will come back soon.
“The film industry started its journey in the country with the hands of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and we are working with the aim of making such films, which will play a role in convincing and enriching people in taking the country to its promised destination,” he told a view-exchange meeting here.
Hasan, also the Awami League Joint General Secretary, was exchanging views with the newly elected executive committee members of Bangladesh Film Directors Association (BFDA) at the conference room of the ministry.
Information and Broadcasting Secretary Md Mokbul Hossain and BFDA President Sohanur Rahman Sohan, among others, were present.
