GAZIPUR, June 5, 2021 (BSS) – Two women were crushed under the wheels of a train in Salna in the city today.
The deceased were identified as Shajeda Akhter, 50, a resident in Gaibandha district and Morsheda Begum, hailed from Jamalpur district.
Joydevpur Railway police said the victims were crushed under the wheels of an express train in Tekibari area on Dhaka-Rajshahi route while they were walking on the route, leaving Shajeda and Morsheda dead on the spot.
Later, the bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
