Three more test positive for COVID-19 in Bhola
BHOLA, June 5, 2021 (BSS) – A number of three more people were diagnosed with COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 35 samples at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital COVID-19 laboratory.
All three infected persons are residents of Sadar upazila, civil surgeon (acting) Dr. Md. Sirajuddin told BSS.
With the new positive cases, the total number of infected people stood at 1,947 while the number of recovery cases is 1,835 in the district, he said.
Meanwhile, 12 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours here, he added.
A total of 26 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district.
Dr. Sirajuddin said infected seven persons are now undergoing treatment at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital, while the other infected persons are taking treatment at home under the supervision of doctors from their respective upazila health complexes.
The health official urged all to follow the health rules strictly and use masks to prevent the spread of the lethal virus.
He urged everyone to be more aware of tackling this deadly virus.
