Nasrin SA earn 3rd in women’s football
DHAKA, June 4, 2021 (BSS)- Nasrin Sports Academy (SA), came from behind, recorded their third win in the Women’s Football League when beat Cumilla United Club by 2-1 goals held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
After the barren first half, Rojina Akter finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Cumilla United in the 52nd minute but the lead lasted for few minutes when Shopna Akter restored the parity for Nasrin SA in the 58th minute of the match.
Shirin Akter sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Nasrin in the 69th minute of the match.
With the day’s win, Nasrin SA secured 10 points from six matches while Cumilla United remained at their previous credit of seven points playing the same number of matches.
