NARAIL, June 3, 2021 (BSS) – The government has fixed a target to procure a total of 4, 312 metric tonnes of Boro rice (boiled) from millers in three upazilas of the district.
District Food Controller office sources said, 2,292 tonnes of Boro rice (boiled) would be procured from the Sadar upazila, 1,714 tonnes from the Lohagora upazila and 306 tonnes from the Kalia upazila in the current season.
Food Controller of Narail sadar upazila Md. Monirul Hasan said price of per kg of Boro rice has also been fixed at Tk 40 this year.
