Tk 1,008cr proposed for Information and Broadcasting Ministry
DHAKA, June 03, 2021 (BSS)- The government has proposed allocating Taka 1,008 crore for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the national budget for the financial year (FY) 2021-2022.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the allocation while placing the budget for fiscal 2021-22 in parliament here today with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The government had allocated Taka 1,039 crore for this ministry in the proposed budget for fiscal 2020-21 while its revised budget in the current fiscal was Taka 993 crore.
