Revenue target set at Tk 3,89,000cr
DHAKA, June 03, 2021 (BSS) – Finance minister A H M Mustafa Kamal, in the proposed national budget for fiscal 2021-22, has set revenue target at Taka 3,89,000 crore, which is 11.3 percent of GDP.
“Out of this, Taka 3,30,000 crore will be collected through the NBR sources. Tax revenue from non- NBR sources has been estimated at Taka 16,000 crore, while the non-tax revenue is estimated to be Taka 43,000 crore,” he said while placing the national budget at the Jatiya Sangsad today.
He said bearing in mind the realities and relying on the planned and reform-oriented tax management, the government has set the target.
The finance minister unveiled a Taka 6,03,681 crore national budget for FY22.
